I planned to disclose the price of a phenomenal paint job by Jonathan Goolsby of Goolsby Customs in Bessemer, AL in my post http://twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2181898/Teaser-pics.html ]">here, but it was lock before I had a chance so I figured I'd let those of you who were interested know in this post. Keeping in mind the amount of dings and body work needed depending on your specific application, this type of paint job will cost you between $4-5k. Since I had the Kaminari side skirts molded in, the rear wiper hole, antenna hole and hood nozzle holes shaved, and the stone guard on the sides and rear sanded down, mine would be leaning more towards the $5k mark. Again, he takes the time to remove the doors, hatch, hood and bumpers and spray in all the door jams and small crannies, so it's a very thorough job. I've yet to see a paint job he's done that wasn't more than impressive, so if you want a paint job that trumps the factory OEM paint on your Z, it's worth taking it to him, even if it's a hike from your current location.
Cheers, JBrobst
